7K a year Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly organized optimistic Veterinary Office Manager to join our team.
The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, managing administrative tasks, providing support to the team and balancing the workflow.
You will work in conjunction with the Head Technician and owner.
We are a privately owned small hospital in a charming location with a strong clientele for many years.
Duties - Manage and coordinate office operations and procedures.
- Supervise staff and allocate responsibilities.
- Oversee the maintenance and organization of office facilities.
- Handle incoming calls and correspondence.
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
- Assist with human resources tasks such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
Manage accounts receivable and cash on hand, including performing invoice audit reviews Manages hospital inventory and controls facility and administrative costs.
Demonstrate and reinforce the highest level of client service.
Resolve client issues and escalations and oversea client follow-up communication.
Partner with the Hospital owner / Veterinarians to address staffing needs including hiring, training, reviewing, disciplining of staff & maintains the employee files.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and most importantly, bring a team together to have positive cohesive well balanced work days.

Qualifications - Minimum of 3 -5 years experience in a (veterinary hospital only).
- Strong organizational, attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Strong team mentoring skills with the ability to correct and praise employees when needed.
- Knowledge of human resources practices, procedures and federal / state laws is essential.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and juggle multiple things at once.
- Problem solving skills and the ability of communicating effectively with clients and staff.
